My name is Naglaa Mostafa Elsayed, I was graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Kasr Alaini, Cairo university, I have MSc., and MD in Diagnostic Radiology. Now I am working as a professor in the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Diagnostic Radiography technology department .

My researches included most of the imaging modalities available in Kasr Elaini hospitals e.g. MRI, US, CT, DXA...
Published researches:
1- brain atrophy versus normal pressure hydrocephalus by CSF flow measurement at MRI
2- The relation between DXA measurement of body fat composition and plasma Ghrelin in patients with end-stage renal disease
3-Evaluation of mitral valve regurgitation with cine MR imaging: qualitative and quantitative techniques
4- Serum Fetuin- A levels in hemodialysis patients: Role in cardiac calcification and inflammation
5- Does MRI have a complementary role to echocardiography in diagnosing congenital anomalies of the great vessels within the thorax?
6-The relatioship of plasma visfatin and retinol binding protein-4 to fat composition assessed by ultrasound, obesity and type 2 diabettes mellitus
7- Transvaginal ultrasonography and color Doppler in diagnosis of endometrial and cervical polyps
8-Radiological and clinical assessment of hemophilic arthropathy in Egyptian children
9- Clinical utility of chest CT in pediatric patients in Cairo university hospitals

1-renal siz measurment in adult Saudi by means of ultrasound

Scientific interests
I am interested in the followings:
1- Working as a radiologist;performing examinations and writing reports in different imaging modalities e.g. C.T. , MRI , plain X-ray and U.S.
2- Academic work and teaching radiological sciences to under and post graduate students in faculties of medicine and applied medical sciences.
3-Reasearch work either as a single author or in combination with other doctors from different specialities.
4- Working as a reviewer and peer reviewer in some medical journals.
